Recently, the first phase of Lekki Port, Nigeria's first deep-water port, has been completed with China's participation in investment, construction, and operation (integration of investment, construction, and operation). Lekki Port is located in the south of Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. It has 8 shoreline berths, with a total length of 6.5 kilometers and a maximum draft of 16.5 meters. It can accommodate super-large ships of 30,000 tons or more. The completion of the Lekki Port will provide Nigeria and the entire West African region with more convenient and efficient trade, logistics, shipping and other services, and inject new impetus into promoting the development of the African economy.
